- The Hiramatsu Hotels & Resorts Kashikojima
The Ryokan Collection is delighted to introduce a new member ryokan, The Hiramatsu Hotels & Resorts Kashikojima located in Mie Prefecture. The Hiramatsu Hotels & Resorts Kashikojima is the first ryokan to be opened by The Hiramatsu Hotels & Resorts, a newly launched brand by one of Japan's leading fine dining restaurant groups, Hiramatsu Inc., which currently manages 33 restaurants in Japan and Paris.
Nestled in Ise Shima National Park, The Hiramatsu Hotels & Resorts Kashikojima offers an exceptional experience for guests to savor Japanese/French fusion cuisine and rejuvenate in private open-air hot spring serene natural surroundings. The area of Ise, Mie Prefecture has an ancient history, having been mentioned in the Nihon Shoki, the oldest chronicles of Japan written in 720 AD. Since, the destination has also long been recognized as a culinary treasure trove. The concept of The Hiramatsu Hotels & Resorts is "taizai wo suru resutoran," ("a restaurant to stay in") - where the hospitality and the culinary experience are intertwined; combining Hiramatsu's 35 years of expertise as Japan's leading fine dining restaurant group with finest ingredients that are sourced locally as well as from premium producers across Japan."

Taking full advantage of Mie's rich food resources, Head Chef Mr. Imamura, who has led award winning restaurants of Restauraunt Hiramatsu in Tokyo and Paris, curates The Hiramatsu Hotels & Resorts's original epicurean experience inspired by two cultures of Japan and France.

The Thalasso Spa Seawater Cures
The tradition of warm seawater cures dates back to ancient times in ise Shima, Mie. Ise is one of the very few destinations in Japan that is able to continuously source quality sea water for Thalasso Spa. Deep relaxation is offered by ryokan's Thalassotherapy treatments, taking advantage of purified seawater from Ise.
